through sincere, skillful, and consistent practice,
ANYONE CAN BECOME PEACEFUL, HAPPY AND FREE.
It does not matter who you are OR WHO YOU TAKE YOURSELF TO BE.

soften + receive:
an autumn welcome

An invitation to slow down, turn inward, and let yourself be supported.

Join Kathy Kacena and Claudia Juhrs for an afternoon of yin, sound, pranayama, and meditation, woven together to create space for quiet, release, and deep rest.

Through long-held shapes, intentional breath, sound, and stillness, we’ll soften into the changining season and make room to simply receive.

Hands-on support will be offered throughout the practice. Hands-on support is always optional. Opt in or out at anytime.

Come as you are. Leave a little more settled.

we can't wait to practice with you.

you're all set!

The Columbia Gorge School of Yoga’s 200-hour teacher training is an immersive experience for students ready to deepen their personal practice and build a strong foundation for teaching. Led by Janet Stone, Kathy Kacena (that's me!) and Pamela Stone Chambers, we bring together decades of experience, wisdom, and heartfelt guidance.

Throughout the training, we will explore vinyasa, yin, pranayama, bhakti, meditation, mantra, anatomy, biomechanics, history, philosophy, and ethics. We balance practical teaching skills with meaningful self-discovery. Graduates receive access to one-on-one mentorship to support their growth as teachers. We invite you to join us with an open heart and an open mind.
